Edgewood Estates Vineyard is a sixth
leaf vineyard planted on two soil types: Nason Loam and
Braddock Loam. Irrigation is used throughout the vineyard.
The vines are managed on a Smart-Dyson Ballerina canopy
system. The Norton grows on a "single curtain" canopy
system. We use dogs to discourage deer and other animals
from damaging the vines. A wind machine is used to protect
the vineyard from frost.
