Tasting Tuesday - 2017 Petit Verdot Estate Reserve
Typically inky and dense in appearance. Darker fruits start coming to the fore [blackberries, currants and bitter chocolate tones]. The palate is rich and drying, with big tannins which means this wine could age for 8-10 years quite easily. This is definitely a full throttle wine, and it needs plenty of aeration to showcase the underlying fruits.
Give this wine some time to come together and integrate, but I think this will be spectacular in a few years
