Tasting Notes

The wine is typically dark, as is the norm for this varietal. The wine is floral and herbaceous on the nose, exhibiting aromas of Provencal herbs, lavender and purple flowers. The palate is unqiuely fruit forward, with crunchy acidity ensuring this wine is light on the palate and bright. The tannins are surprisingly soft and just ensure the wine has good length and a round/supple finish. This wine is very approachable and will provide immediate enjoyment, but may warrant cellaring for 3-5 years and could perhaps age beautifully for up to 8 years under optimal cellar conditions.
