A blend of Verdejo and Vidal Blanc
The 2018 vintage of V² is vibrant and green, with a richer palate. Notes of Peach, Pineapple, Red Apple and Citrus are dominant with a floral nose and a long, textured finish. The wine can certainly age a few years in the bottle, but is best served nice and cold for this hot summer.
Returning to 100% Estate Grown fruit, this vintage of V² is a blend of Braddock Series grown Verdejo and Nasom Series grown Vidal Blanc. The fruit was transferred directly to press and pressed off using a gentle program with free run and light press juices going directly to tank. The heavy press fractions were seperated and not blended into this wine. Fermentation completed after 21 days when the wine was racked off the gross lees and stored on fine lees until bottling day
